Conflict of Interest Screening/Disclosure Application
Electronic Version (eCOI)
The University’s annual financial Conflict of Interest disclosure process utilizes an electronic Conflict of Interest (eCOI) screening/disclosure application. The eCOI application has made the process of submission, verification, and management of potential financial conflicts of interest much simpler and efficient. Further, the eCOI disclosure form contains fewer questions that are more focused on activities having potential conflicts. The 2008/2009 eCOI disclosure forms will be effective September 1, 2008 - August 31, 2009.

The eCOI application:
- checks the disclosure for completeness
- allows the submitter to attach/upload current conflict management plans (as required)
- identifies the required reviewer and simultaneously routes the form to him/her
- allows the reviewer access 24/7 from anywhere in the world
- maintains a record of the completed forms
